I joined the "Making Online Content Accessible for All" cohort because I wanted to align my personal values of accessibility and inclusion with strong technical expertise. This six-week, project-based course—grounded in WCAG 2.2 and guided expertly by Dr. Nicole L'Étoile—far exceeded my expectations. Not only did I gain confidence in accessibility tools and techniques to design more accessible learning experiences, but I also learned how to embed accessibility from the very start of my process. The hands-on activities, weekly live sessions, thoughtful feedback, and learning environment equipped me not just to improve my own website and course design but also to support others in doing so. The level of intention, expertise, and care invested in creating this cohort was remarkable. I left not only more knowledgeable, but empowered to champion inclusive design in all my work.

It helped me feel more confident in my understanding of accessibility, gave me some foundational knowledge to prepare for the CPACC certification, and introduced me to some intelligent, like-minded people as part of my cohort. I'm not just satisfied with my experience, I'll champion Dr. Nicole and her course at every opportunity, because it truly was worth everything I put into it.
